Now Recruiting Founders

The Common Council

"When ordinary people seize power, everything changes."

We're building a new system. One where British citizens decide what gets built, funded, and protected in their communities. No politicians. No bureaucracy. Just us.

The Vision

Imagine a Britain where ordinary people — not councils, not politicians, not distant institutions — decide what happens in their communities.

Where you and your neighbours can propose building a youth club, restoring a memorial, or creating apprenticeships. Where the community votes on what matters most. Where every pound is tracked, every decision is transparent, and every project is accountable to the people who funded it.

This isn't a dream. This is what we're building.

The stories we share at proudofus.co.uk aren't just history lessons. They're proof of what we're capable of. Ordinary British people created trial by jury, won the right to roam, forced the abolition of slavery. They didn't wait for permission. They organised, they acted, they changed everything.

If we keep that history alive — if we teach it, share it, remember it — we can write our own chapter. Pride in where we come from becomes the foundation for building something worth being proud of.

Why Now?

The technology finally exists to make this possible.

Transparent by Design

Built on Hedera Hashgraph — every vote, every contribution, every fund release recorded permanently. No hiding. No corruption.

Community Governed

British citizens vote on what gets funded. Your commitment over time earns you more influence. Those who build it, shape it.

Local & National

Start with your village, your town, your city. Then scale to national projects. Eventually, share this model with the world.

Britain has always led the world in building systems that empower ordinary people. Trial by jury. Parliamentary democracy. The abolition of slavery.

We can do it again.

How It Will Work

1

Propose

Any member can suggest a project — from restoring a local park to funding regional apprenticeships.

2

Discuss

The community debates, refines, and improves the proposal together.

3

Vote

Verified British members vote. Your voice grows stronger the longer you're committed.

4

Fund

Approved projects open for contributions. Anyone can help — anonymously if they choose.

5

Build

Funds release in milestones. The community verifies progress. Together, you watch it come to life.

6

Celebrate

Document what you built. Inspire others. Expand to the next project.

This System Doesn't Exist Yet.

But it will. And the people who help build it from scratch will shape how it works forever. Their names will be recorded as founders. Their voices will carry weight. Their vision will become reality.

Become a Founder

Founding Members

The first wave of people brave enough to build something new.

Right now, I'm building this in the gaps — early mornings, late nights, weekends. But The Common Council can't be built in stolen hours. It needs to become a full-time mission.

Your support makes that possible. It funds the research, the development, the legal groundwork — and yes, the time. The more founders who join, the sooner I can stop splitting my focus and pour everything into making this real.

Governing Status

Fast-tracked to full voting rights. Your voice shapes The Common Council from day one.
